以譬物之和合。最勝王經六曰:「上下和穆猶如乳水。」觀經疏鈔序曰:「相冥者如水乳相冥。」祖庭事苑曰:「正法念處經云:譬如水乳同置一器,鵝王飲之,但飲其乳汁,其水猶在。」臨濟錄曰:「如今有一個佛魔同體不分,如乳水合,鵝王喫乳。」南山戒疏曰:「如水乳合者,師乖見異,義則有殊。師同見合,理則無別。如乳合乳,如水合水。不得云乳合水,以相合非體,鵝能別故。」
Water and milk-- an illustration of the intermingling of things; but their essential separateness is recognized in that the rāja-haṃsa (a kind of goose) is said to be able to drink up the milk leaving behind the water.
一水乳 以水與乳之混合相融,比喻事物之和合相冥。最勝王經卷六(大一六‧四二八上):「上下和穆,猶如水乳。」(參閱「乳水」3831)p1945
