聲聞緣覺之聖者,各安住於所得之證果,不更進求勝道也。俱舍論二十三曰:「住果者,乃至未起勝果道時但名住果。」法華玄義五曰:「住果聲聞猶在草庵。」
Abiding in the fruit; e.g. śrāvakas andpratyekabuddhaswho rest satisfied in their attainments and do not strive for Buddhahood; they are known as住果緣覺 or住果羅漢.
一住果 指聲聞、緣覺之聖者,各安住於所證之果位,不更進求勝道。〔俱舍論卷二十三〕p3265
