十界中，除佛界自菩薩界至地獄界之九界也。此九界，由佛界言之，悉為迷之境界也。玄義二上曰：「己身他身，微妙寂絕，皆非權非實，而能應於九界之權一界之實。」
(九界情執) The nine realms of error, or subjection to the passions, i.e. all the realms of the living except the tenth and highest, the Buddha-realm.
一九界 乃指十法界中之九界。即：地獄、餓鬼、畜生、阿修羅、人間、天上、聲聞、緣覺、菩薩。p225
十法界中除去佛界，即是九界，此九界都是迷的境界。
