佛之德號，以佛證生死即涅槃之無礙道故也。晉華嚴經五曰：「一切無礙人，一道出生死。」往生論註下曰：「無礙者，知生死即涅槃。」讚阿彌陀佛偈曰：「我以一心讚一佛，願徧十方無礙人。」
The unhindered one, the Buddha, who unbarred the way to nirvāṇa, which releases from all limitations; the omnipresent one; the one who realizesnirvāṇa-truth.
一無礙人 為佛之德號。諸佛如來證知「煩惱即菩提」、「生死即涅槃」，其智融通無礙，故稱無礙人。〔舊華嚴經卷六、讚阿彌陀偈〕p6473
