Manasvati，又曰摩那蘇婆帝。龍王名。譯言大身，慈心，高意等。法華光宅疏一曰：「摩那斯，譯云大身，則繞須彌七匝也。」法華文句二曰：「摩那斯，此云大身，或大意大力等。修羅排海，淹喜見城，此龍縈身以遏海水。」同玄贊二曰：「摩那斯，此云慈心。」探玄記二曰：「摩那蘇婆帝龍王，亦名摩那斯，此云慈心，亦云得意。正云摩那云意，斯云高，謂有威德，意高餘龍。」
摩那蘇婆帝 Mānasa; Manasvatī. A lake in the Himālayas, one of the four lakes formed when the ocean fell from heaven upon Mount Meru. The dragon who is the tutelary deity of this lake.
摩那斯 此云大身，或云大意，或云大力。
