修善道，未斷惑證理者。如三賢十聖，七賢七聖之賢。又通名上位。增一阿含經二十九曰：「賢者舍利弗，賢者大目乾連。」等。
A good and wise man, not yet free from illusion or fully comprehending reality; also anyone occupying a superior position, or a good man in general.
