vṛddhataraka , adj. or subst. (to compv. of Skt. vṛddha; specifying -ka § 22.39 ), (one that is) older, rather old : Bbh 254.6 (see prativiśiṣṭataraka ); similarly Bbh 5.1 and esp. 161.11 ; perhaps oldest (monk, to take precedence over the others), MSV iii.123.2, 6 .
