stuti = Skt. stauti (which ms. reads, unmetr. ), praises : Śikṣ 341.11 ( vs ). Possibly m.c. for *stoti, § 3.56 ; but may also be for stute, 3 sg. mid. , or analog. to stumas, stuta, etc. , with weak for strong stem, cf. § 28.64 .
