iryati (= Pali iriyati; cf. Vedic īrte), wanders : Mv iii.118.18 vanād vanaṃ iryasi (so mss. , Senart em. īr°) caṃkramanto. The ya-present formation is doubtless due to influence of the noun iryā (see īryā ), commonly in the cpd. īryāpatha or iryā° .
