<b> <c c="#a00149">Dhammadinnā</c> </b> <br>An eminent Therī, ranked foremost among nuns who possessed the gift of preaching. <c c="#3b6bd3">AN.i.25</c> Her Therīgāthā verse says that one without attachment is bound upstream. <c c="#3b6bd3">Thig.12</c> In Rājagaha her former husband Visakha asked her a series of profound questions on the Dhamma. The questions and answers are given in the Cūḷavedalla Sutta. <c c="#3b6bd3">MN.i.299ff.</c> Visākha reported this interview to the Buddha, who praised her great wisdom and commended her eloquence.<br> <br> </deftext>
