Tinduka，譯曰柿。止觀十曰：「有害無害，譬如迦羅鎮頭二果。」牟梨曼陀羅咒經曰：「鎮頭迦木，此云柿木。」慧琳音義二十五曰：「鎮頭迦果，古譯云狀，同此方柿木之類也。」西域記二曰：「鎮杜迦果。」梵語雜名曰：「底朵覩娑。」見迦羅鎮頭條。
tinduka, theDiospyros embryopteros, orglutinosa; tr. 柿 the persimmon; the 鎮頭迦羅 are two fruits, i.e. 鎮頭 and 迦羅, the former good, the latter poisonous.
鎮頭迦 此云柿。
