禪宗之學問。禪學當於身口意中之意業，故有佛心宗之名。禪源都序一曰：「經是佛語，禪是佛意。諸佛心口不相違。」傳通緣起上曰：「道善意學。」
Mental learning, learning by meditation rather than from books, the special cult of the Chan or Intuitional school, which is also called the School of the Buddha-mind.
一意學 指禪宗之學。修習禪要，必側重於身口意中之意業，故有佛心宗之名。禪源諸詮集都序卷上之一（大四八‧四OO中）：「經是佛語，禪是佛意，諸佛心口，必不相違。」p6858
禪宗的學問。禪學相當於身口意中之意業，故名意學。
