vārṣikī ( Skt. Lex. id. ; cf. under prec. (2), and see mahā-vārṣikī ), a kind of jasmine: Mvy 6153 , transliterated in Tib. var śi ki ; in LV 27.7 (prose), cf. Wellerʼs note , read as cpd. vārṣikī-suviśuddha-darśanā (it is not certain that sumanā, before vār°, is part of the cpd. as Weller believes).
