uttṛṇī-karoti (= Pali uttiṇaṃ karoti; implies adj. *uttṛṇa, deprived of thatch ), makes (a building) roofless , object āveśana-mālām (so read with mss. , see s.v. mālā ): °kṛtvā Mv i.328.10, 14, 20 ; 329.1 (in the last two read with mss. °mālām ut°kṛtvā); °karetsu ( v.l. °suḥ) i.328.12 (here one ms. uttīni-k°, apparently intending the MIndic uttiṇī°).
