<b> <c c="#a00149">Ujjenī</c> </b> <br>The capital of Avanti. In the Buddha’s time, Caṇḍapajjota <c c="#3b6bd3">Vin.i.276</c> was king of Ujjenī and there was friendly intercourse between that city and Māgadha, whose king was Seniya Bimbisāra.
