Skt. Lex. tuṇḍi, tuṇḍikā, tunda, late Skt. tundikā, Schmidt, Nachträge ); ( 3 ) in tuṇḍa-bandham Mmk 110.9 , uncertain, possibly (binding of the) belly? ( Skt. tunda, pot-belly ; AMg. tunda, belly ); but possibly face , as in (1), or mouth ; ( 4 ) trunk of an elephant: na hasti-tuṇḍāvalambitam Mvy 8528 .
