trisAhasrI
tri-sāhasrī , f. ( sc. lokadhātu; cf. °srā ), the three-thousandfold (world-system): yaś ca imāṃ trisāhasrīṃ (so most mss. , two °rāṃ) … kampayet SP 253.7 . Only here and in Dbh.g. 40(66).4 trisahasri have I noted the fem. (tri-, or mahā-)-sāhasrī(-sah°), corresp. to Pali sahassī, which app. is the regular Pali form, see Childers s.v. Otherwise the BHS fem. stem is °srā, see preceding items.
