<b> <c c="#a00149">Tapodā</c> </b> <br>A large lake below the Vebhāra mountain, outside Rājagaha. The lake was cool, but the stream flowing from it, also called Tapodā, <c c="#3b6bd3">Vin.iii.108</c> <c c="#3b6bd3">Vin.iv.116f.</c> was hot. Around it was the Tapodārāma.<br>Monks and recluses were evidently in the habit of going to the Tapodā to bathe in the hot springs.
