Somanassa (neuter) [from su + mano; cf. domanassa] mental ease, happiness, joy D I 3; II 278; III 270; M I 85, 313; S IV 232; A II 69; III 207, 238; Dhp 341; Snp 67; Pp 59; Vibh-a 73; Pv-a 6, 14, 133; Sv I 53; it is more than sukha D II 214; defined at Vism 461 (iṭṭhārammaṇānubhavana-lakkhaṇaṃ, etc.).
