Ponti (vv.ll. poṭhi, sonti) Thig 422, 423 is doubtful; the explanation at Thig-a 269 is "pilotikākhaṇḍa," thus "rags (of an ascetic)," cf. JPTS 1884. See also pottha 1 , with which evidently identical, though misread.
