But note Pali nahāminī, Pv iii.1.13 , repeated in comm. 176.1 with gloss kappaka-jātikā. Our word looks like confirmation of Kern ʼs conjecture, cited PTSD s.v. nahāmin, that the Pali form stands for °pin(ī).
