marzayati
marṣayati ( caus. to Skt. mṛṣ-), asks to be excused from, declines (politely): marṣehi grāmavaram Mv iii.192.1 , [Page420-b] ask (the king, who had offered a present of a village) to excuse you from the boon of a village , i.e. decline it. (This seems a natural development of Skt. mṛṣ-, caus. ; Senart finds it troublesome.)
