<b> <c c="#a00149">Kisāgotamī </c> </b> <br>A nun who was declared chief among women disciples with respect to the wearing of coarse robes. <c c="#3b6bd3">AN.i.25</c> Gotamī was her name—she was called Kisā because of her thinness.<br>In her Therīgāthā verses <c c="#3b6bd3">Thig.213–223</c> her story is like that of Paṭācārā.<br>The Saṃyutta Nikāya <c c="#3b6bd3">SN.i.129f.</c> records a visit paid to her by Māra as she sat resting in Andhavana.
