<b> <c c="#a00149">Kālakañjakā</c> </b> <br>A class of Asuras. They were present at the Mahāsamaya, and are spoken of as being of a fearsome shape. <c c="#3b6bd3">DN.ii.259</c> They are the very lowest of the Asura groups, and the Buddha warns Sunakkhatta that Korakkhattiya will, after his death from epilepsy, be born among them; and it did so happen. <c c="#3b6bd3">DN.iii.7f.</c> <br> <br> </deftext>
