jihmīkara , adj. (= next), obscuring : in Candrasūrya-jihmīkara-prabha , q.v. ( having a splendor that obscures the moon and sun ): LV 292.8 (prose). But v.l. °karaṇa, which, being much commoner (I have noted no other case of °kara), is very likely the true reading.
