Spelling uncertain. LKh: "the offering of three mouthfuls." A term used throughout Tibet to refer to a practice which is done at special occassions such as {lo gsar} or after the singing of the {ja chang gi g.yang rtse} at a marriage ceremony. gsum refers to both the number of offerings -- the glass is ritually filled 3 times -- and the number of "sips" or mouthfuls (zhabs btags) the recipient must take from it.
