Gatin (adjective = gatika) 1. going, i.e. having a certain course: sabbā nadī vaṅkagatī "every river flows crooked" Ja I 289. 2. having a certain gati, fated, destined, especially in su° and dug°: samparāye suggatī going to a happy existence after death Vin II 162 = Ja I 219; saggaṃ sugatino yanti "those who have a happy fate (because of leading a good life) go to one of the heavens" Dhp 126.
