Cūḷa [Sanskrit cūḍa and cūlikā] 1. swelling, protuberance; root, knot, crest. As kaṇṇa-cūḷa the root of an elephant's ear Ja VI 488. aḍḍha-cūḷa a measure (see aḍḍha). See also cūlikā. 2. (adjective) see culla.
