Babbhara [onomatopoetic, cf. Sanskrit balbalā-karoti to stammer or stutter, barbara = Greek βάρβαρος stuttering, people of an unknown tongue, balbūtha proper name "stammerer"; also Latin balbas, German plappern, English blab; babbhara is a reduplicated formation from *bhara-bhara = barbara, cf.
