<b> <c c="#a00149">Assaka</c> </b> <br>The country of Assaka is one of the sixteen Mahājanapadas mentioned in the Aṅguttara Nikāya.<c c="#3b6bd3">AN.i.213</c> <c c="#3b6bd3">AN.iv.252</c> <c c="#3b6bd3">AN.iv.256</c> <c c="#3b6bd3">AN.iv.260</c> It does not, however; occur in the list of twelve countries given in the Janavasabha Sutta.
