Gloss. page 229 as a-spr̥hayālu, but Buddhaghosa evidently different (see below)] — not hankering, free from craving, not greedy S I 187 = Thag 1218 (akuhako nipako apihālu); Snp 852 (+ amaccharin, explained at Pj II 549 as apihana-sīlo, patthanātaṇhāya rahito ti vuttaṃ hoti, thus perhaps taking it as a + pi (= api) + hana (from dhā, cf. pidahati and pihita); cf. also Nidd II §227).
