Large numbers of Sākiyan princes joined the Order there, including Bhaddiya, Anuruddha, Ānanda, Bhagu, Kimbila, Devadatta and their barber, Upāli. <c c="#3b6bd3">Vin.ii.180f.</c> <br>From Anupiya the Buddha went to Kosambi. <c c="#3b6bd3">Vin.ii.184</c> Near Anupiya was the park where the paribbājaka of the Bhaggavagotta lived.
