Acceti [ati + eti from i 1. to passive(of time), to go by, to elapse Thag 145 (accayanti ahorattā). 2. to overcome, to get over Miln 36 (dukkhaṃ). — causative acceti to make go on (locative), to put on Ja VI 17 {8} (sūlasmiṃ; commentary āvuṇeti), but at this passage probably to be read appeti (q.v.).
