Purāṣa (so ed. with mss. ), n. of a former Buddha: Mv i.137.13 . Senartʼs note rightly expresses doubt of the reading, which he says could at best represent Vedic Purāṣāḍ (once in RV ). I suggest that Purāṇa is apt to be the true reading.
