以楊樹之黃葉為金，與小兒以止其啼。譬佛說天上之樂果以止人間之眾惡也。見涅槃經二十。

Yellow willow leaves, resembling gold, given to children to stop their crying; the evanescent joys of the heavens offered by Buddha to curb evil.
