阿耨多羅三藐三菩提之略。涅槃經三十五曰：「阿耨菩提，信心為因。」智度論三十四曰：「眾生聞我名者，必得阿耨菩提。」教行信證二曰：「阿耨菩提者，即是涅槃界。」
(阿耨多羅三藐三菩提) anuttara-samyak-saṃbodhi; oranubodhi. Unexcelled complete enlightenment, an attribute of every buddha; tr. by 無上正遍知; 無上正等正覺, the highest correct and complete, or universal knowledge or awareness, the perfect wisdom of a buddha, omniscience.
