解法之字義者。法有二義，一軌之義，謂以其體為軌範使人起領解心也。二持之義，謂維持其體不混亂他體也。唯識論一曰：「法謂軌持。」同述記一本曰：「軌謂軌範，可生物解。持謂任持，不捨自相。」

即法的意義。軌者軌範，使人生起領解心，持者維持，維持其體而不混亂其他的個體。
