Āmrā，巴Ambā，又作菴羅女，菴樹女。皆為菴婆羅樹女之略。見菴羅條。
(菴婆羅女) Āmradārika, Āmrapālī, Ambapālī; the guardian of the āmratree; a female who presented to Śākyamuni the Āmravana garden; another legend says she was born of anāmratree; mother of Jīvaka, son of Bimbisāra.
