觀三界唯心無於心外緣法者，以行菩提之道也。大日經疏二曰：「無緣乘者，至此僧祇始能觀察阿陀那深細之識，解了三界唯心，心外更無一法而可得者，乘此無緣心而行大菩提道，故名無緣乘也。」
