又曰扶塵根。五根有二種，在內正有發識取境之用者，名為勝義根。眼之如葡萄，耳之如卷葉，外形謂為浮根扶根或扶塵根。浮者浮虛不實之義也。楞嚴經一曰：「我觀此浮根四塵祇在我面。」
(浮塵根); 扶根 (扶塵根) indriya, the organs of sensation, eye, ear, etc., in contrast with 勝義根 the function or faculty of sensation.
