菩薩以愛欲牽人遂濟度之，欲猶如鉤。維摩經佛道品曰：「或現作婬女，引諸好色者，先以欲鉤牽，後令入佛智。」金光明文句二曰：「斯乃非欲之欲，以欲止欲，如以屑出屑，將聲止聲。」
The hook of desire; the bodhisattva attracts men through desire, and then draws them to the enlightenment of Buddha.
一欲鉤 即菩薩為救度眾生，以欲牽引之；比喻欲為鉤，故稱欲鉤。維摩經卷中佛道品載，菩薩為救度眾生而行善巧方便，示現種種身，或現作淫女，誘引好色者，先以欲鉤牽引，終令入佛智。p5860
