五欲污身如塵坌，故云塵，又欲者六欲，塵者五塵。無量義經曰：「微渧先墮，以淹欲塵。」智度論十七曰：「禪為清淨水，能洗諸欲塵。」俱舍光記十一曰：「喜林苑極妙欲塵，殊類皆集。」
The dust, or dirt, or infection of the passions; the guṇas, or qualities, or material factors of desire regarded as forces. Also the six desires and the fiveguṇas 六欲五塵.
