九曜之一。具名日天曜。為日天眷屬，位於胎藏界曼荼羅東方南端。赤色，右手持日輪，左手伏膝上，坐三馬。

一日曜 梵名 Sūrya。七曜之一，九曜之一。又作日天曜、日星、日精、太陽密日星。為密教日天之眷屬，或謂與日天為同體。胎藏現圖中，日曜右手執日輪，左掌覆置腰部，身著天衣，乘三白馬。大日經疏卷四以「深祕」解釋執曜，謂日喻本淨之菩提心，即毘盧遮那之自體。〔宿曜儀軌、北斗護摩法〕p1905
