掩隱白毫之色之意，謂佛陀之死也。又用於高僧之死。俱舍論曰：「青蓮罷笑。白毫掩色。」
To cover the form, or face, i.e. the death of the Buddha, or a noted monk, referring to the covering, of the face.
一掩色 即掩隱白毫之色。指佛陀涅槃，或用於指高僧示寂。所謂「青蓮罷笑，白毫掩色」，即形容入滅、示寂之意。p5770
