Kumāra，又作矩麼羅，鳩摩羅。譯曰童子。見西域記十。
kumāra; also 矩摩羅 (or 鳩摩羅); a child, youth, prince, tr. by 童子 a youth, 拘摩羅天; 鳩摩羅伽天 Kumārakadeva, Indra of the firstdhyānaheaven whose face is like that of a youth, sitting on a peacock, holding a cock, a bell, and a flag.
拘摩羅 西域記云：唐言童子。釋名云：十五曰童，故禮有陽童。牛羊之無角曰童，山無草木曰童，言人未冠者似之云耳。
