忉利天上之波利質多樹也。此樹為樹中之王，故名曰樹王。猶言牛王鵝王等。法華經序品曰：「國界自然殊特妙好，如天樹王其華開敷。」
The pārijāta tree 波利質多 which grows in front of Indra's palace-- the king among the heavenly trees.
