Dīpaṁkara，又曰提和竭，提洹竭。佛名。譯言燃燈，錠光。玄應音義三曰：「提和竭，或云提和竭羅，此云錠光，亦曰燃燈佛是也。」可洪音義二曰：「提洹竭，中戶官反，亦云提和竭，此云錠光，即燃燈佛也。」
Dīpaṃkara. The Buddha of burning light, the twenty-fourth predecessor of Śākyamuni, a disciple of Varaprabha ; v. 燃 and 提. In the Lotus Sutrahe appears from his nirvana on the Vulture Peak with Śākyamuni, manifesting that the nirvana state is one of continued existence.
