對真我而言，又云假我。佛者於五蘊之假者順世俗之法而稱為我，謂之俗我。真我又云實我。外道凡夫所執之妄我也。佛者排妄我，不撥俗我。
The popular idea of the ego or soul, i.e. the empirical or false ego 假我 composed of the five skandhas. This is to be distinguished from the true ego 真我 or 實我, the metaphysical substratum from which all empirical elements have been eliminated; v.八大自在我.
一俗我 「真我」之對稱。又稱假我。佛教於五蘊假合之身，隨順世俗而稱為我，是為俗我。真我又稱實我，乃指涅槃之真實之我。又外道凡夫所執之我為妄我；佛教排斥妄我，然不撥除俗我。〔雜阿含經卷二十二〕p4705
又名假我，亦即凡夫所執著的妄我。
