謂天台圓教之空假中三諦圓融不二也。以簡別於別教三諦之隔歷。輔行一曰：「即者爾雅云合也，若據此釋仍似二物相合名即，其理猶疏。今以義求體不二故名為即，即三而一，與合義異。」
The unity of 空, 假, 中, three aspects of the same reality, taught by the 圓教as distinguished from the 別教which separates them.
