mañjunātha; epithet of Dzong-ka-ba; ""smooth protector"" (Mañjushrī) Comment: According to S#er-s#hül L#o-sang-pün-tsok, ""smooth"" ('jam, mañju) indicates that Mañjushrī is devoid of the roughness of the obstructions to liberation from cyclic existence and the roughness of the obstructions to omniscience. This is not the Bodhisattva Mañjushrī but the one that is the physical manifestation of the wisdom of all Buddhas.
